The presentation will focus on both an introduction to Power Point for the beginner and tips for the person already familiar with the basics of using Power Point.

Day 1

1. Rudiments of using Power Point

     a. inserting text—centering, bold, underline, bulleted lists

     b. wizards/ apply presentation designs

     c. inserting graphics/ cut or copy and paste/ sizing

     d. preparing graphics for use/ using graphics from the internet

     e. using clipart

     f. using WordArt

    g. inserting backgrounds

    h. making a new slide

2. Using the Power Point tool bars and features

    a. slide sorter view

    b. normal view

   c. slideshow view

   d. inserting colors

   e. using shadows with text and WordArt

   f. using AutoShapes

   g. power of the Draw toolbar
